Loto-Québec signs deal with Cryptologic

Cryptologic will provide at least 14 games in its first major licensing agreement in over 18 months.

Cryptologic has signed a multi-year deal with Société du jeu virtuel du Québec (SJVQ), a Loto- Québec subsidiary which operates, the Canadian state lottery's online gaming site.

The deal will see the online casino games supplier provide at least 14 leading games to over the next year. The games will be distributed via the OpenBet fixed-odds games platform and will add to content provided to by OpenBet, Chartwell and GTECH G2.'s general manager, François Poulin, said, “Working with CryptoLogic enables us to provide a more diverse array of games and enhance the online experience.”

Ian Price, Cryptologic's group head of development, said, “We are delighted to welcome Espacejeux as a CryptoLogic customer. Working with governmental organisations like Loto-Québec underpins CryptoLogic's reputation for innovative but responsible gaming solutions."

Canada’s Amaya Gaming Group, which also recently signed with via its Chartwell subsidiary, has agreed terms for the acquisition of CryptoLogic. Following the news, Cryptologic shares are trading 160.00p. © Copyright 2014. All rights reserved.
